VICRYL RAPIDE Absorbable Suture

The VICRYL RAPIDE Absorbable Suture is a synthetic, braided suture designed for rapid absorption and short-term wound support. Composed of a copolymer of glycolide and L-lactide, it provides reliable closure in superficial soft tissue procedures where quick absorption is desired. Its braided construction offers excellent handling and knot-tying properties, while its coating ensures smooth tissue passage.

This undyed suture is ideal for skin closure and other applications where the need for wound support does not extend beyond 7-10 days. It models the performance of collagen (surgical gut) sutures, providing a predictable absorption profile.
